Christmas2020

We are grateful for God’s greatest gift, Jesus, and for each of you (and the blessing you are). As was the case (I think) for all of us, 2020 was a year of challenge and change (I have a feeling this will continue, regardless of what the calendar tells us about things being “new”). But 2020 was also a year of testing and refining. That’s often hard, but it isn’t bad. I would encourage you to stop and ask yourself, “What has God been showing me in the preceding months about my heart, my needs, my expectations, my fears, and/or my priorities?” In light of such questions, could there really be a better use of 2021 than exploring and embracing God’s lessons from 2020? Our prayer is that you discover, possibly anew, that the Christ of Christmas is both the pathway and point of every lesson from God. However deep the well of your loss this past year, may God quench your heart with the overflowing gain of Jesus. Wishing a very merry and a truly blessed Christmas! (and feel free to leave a greeting below–we’d love to hear from you!)

2020 included some great ‘lockdown’ road trips, Laurel’s (18) graduation (valedictorian!) and first semester at Arizona State, some beach time in San Diego, online school (Go, Roughriders!) and plenty of gaming for Aidan (16) and Rhys (14)(as well as a job at Fry’s Food for Aidan), tasty Pampered Chef pursuits for Anita, hijinks with Grandma Joy, and lessons in pandemic pastoring for Bryce.

Below you will find links to some of Bryce’s Christmas-inspired, creative endeavors. May they be an encouragement to you this season!

  1. Great words for us these days, Bryce. Thank you. And great to see your family, all growing up.

    Blessings to you all,
